Thanks for offering such a great workshop on Wednesday, June 13th. I really
enjoyed the day.
I understand you're expecting a post visit activity for one of the hands on
activities I did at the workshop. The Bella the Butterfly activity I
participated in would be a great introduction to the Einstein unit (taught
at 3rd and 4th grades) on plants. In the Einstein unit, students grow
plants from "seed to seed" including pollinating their plant with a bee on a
stick.
The Bella the butterfly fieldtrip and activity would introduce students to
pollinating animals. They could also research and make their own 3-D pollen
dust out of paper mache or constructed one out of clay and paint it similar
to what "Bella" had.
