ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION

Join us for a day celebrating trees and the urban forest! Special guest speakers from the City of Monona and Johnson Tree Care will help youth plant and mulch live trees on ALNC's property. We'll explore the inner workings of trees, learn how trees help cities and towns stay cool and keep waterways clean, and meet some "alien" invaders that can harm urban trees. Join us for an action packed afternoon devoted to our leafy neighbors! This program is sponsored by an Urban Forestry Grant from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
