"High Tech" Meets "High Touch" at the
New Climate Education Center!
With the completion of the new facility, the hard work of installing the exhibits and
developing the new curriculum has begun. Already installed and
currently being piloted to school groups are:

Science on a Sphere: a high definition global
projection system displaying NOAA & NASA planetary data onto a
six-foot diameter sphere to illustrate Earth System science.;
and

Global Warming Facts & Our Future: a powerful
interactive exhibit created by the National Academy of Sciences
to introduce and explain peer-reviewed scientific facts and
guide participants in making informed decisions.

Madison
Gas & Electric Renewable Energy Center: a dynamic
digital program that will allow visitors to learn about
available alternative and efficient energy technology; and
 Storms 360 Fly-Through Immersive Theater: a high-definition
immersion experience that takes visitors through simulated
weather and climate systems and explains how their changes
impact the world.
The
construction of the facility was made possible by generous
monetary and in-kind donations of services and products from
individuals, foundations and businesses.

Campaign goal. We are so close, but need your help to take us to
the top! Please consider a gift to help us reach the thousands
of children who will learn to live more sustainable lives
through participating in our interactive programs.
