Overnights
Overnights can be held at the Aldo Leopold Nature
Center's Black Earth campus. Three overnight options exist (see
below for descriptions). Activities include badge work, night
hike, and nighttime snack around the campfire.

Overnight Program Options:
Campfire Camping

Single night overnight: Arrive 7pm and
depart at 11:00am the next day.

Trailside
Backpack Program
Enhance your scouts' exploration of nature with
our Trailside Backpack Program! ALNC offers three seasonally themed
backpacks containing easy-to-understand Exploration Guides and a
host of tools to help your troop investigate and discover. Backpack
activities may be used with scouts of all ages. Our seasonal themes
are Spring is in the Air (spring),
Crawling Critters (summer) and
Snug in the Snow (winter).
$10 for Scout
Groups
Drop-in hours are year-round Monday through Friday
9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
